THREE GIRLS!!!
We had a quick appointment this morning with our specialist so he could check in on the babes - they are keeping a close eye on the identical two's amniotic fluid. While they are at risk for twin-to-twin transfer, we are happy to report that all is well for now! Of course they also checked in on Baby 'A', who is also doing well! Daddy Travis is already concerned about her getting left out! Which brings us to our other news... they confirmed their educated guesses today and we are happy to annouce that we'll be welcoming three baby girls to our family! Poor Travis is already out-numbered with Tehya, Bena and myself in the house! Up until today Baby 'A' has been keeping us guessing by playing hide-and-seek every time they've tried to get a good glance. Baby 'C' continues to be somewhat of an exhibitionist, so we've known for a few weeks - with fairly high certainty - that 'B' and 'C' were/are girls. The most important thing is that all the babies are growing and appear very healthy at this stage in our pregnancy - as does their mama. I'll be seeing a doctor on an almost weekly basis from here on out (alternating between my OB-GYN and the specialist) so they can continue to monitor the babies, my cervix, and mama in general. Can't really complain since that just means we're getting a good look at the kids before meeting in person! I was asked if I could feel them moving around yet... and NO, not yet! I guess with three they expect that I'll be feeling them in the next couple weeks - who knew?! Seeing them squirming around on the screen made me almost glad that I can't feel them quite yet - there sure was a lot of movement going on in there. Below are some pictures of the babies - we didn't get as many this trip. I've also posted a couple of me and my belly - this is at the request of others and not by choice... it seems all my clothes have shrunk!
Here's what babycenter.com has to say about what's happening with the babies: Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will

She's tired of getting her picture taken!
And mama's belly - growing faster than the babies!
