Some videos

I uploaded some videos awhile back, but can't remember if I ever posted them here... a couple are from quite a bit ago, but the Mega Blok one is more recent.
Mostly Hadley dancing
New Mega Blok table! and the official "Cheese" smile
Throwing Mega Bloks is apparently a lot of fun.

Fall-ish...

It may still be warm out - but we managed to get the girls pictures taken while at the cabin for Labor Day weekend... they were NOT cooperative, but Marcy did a fantastic job from the preview she sent us thus far! Since not everyone is on Facebook, I thought I'd go ahead and share what we've seen so far!

The girls continue to amaze us - they're so dang smart at this age. Way smarter than I give them credit for most of the time! Don't let them fool you, they understand way more then they let on - the little stinkers! Currently, they're talking and signing machines - soaking up everything they hear and read. They still love books - a good thing since I think at current count we're at a million... you'd never guess there are teachers in the family! In addition to Baby Signing Time (BST), Elmo has begun to climb in status in our household - apparently "melmo" is very funny and very exciting to watch. I can't say I mind adding Sesame Street to a list of approved TV shows... anything is better than BST over and over and over! The girls are also beginning to master the use of forks and spoons - and boy to they LOVE their utensils. Try explaining to them that frozen peas should be eaten with their fingers - they don't buy it for a minute and try very hard to use their sfork or spoon - dropping a million peas on the floor in the process. Even the dogs are starting to bypass peas - they've had enough. The girls are also starting to like to "dip" - more ketchup please! For awhile they would simply just eat the ketchup - well after the initial introduction that is, which is a completely separate story - but now they're into dipping. Unfortunately, they have no standards and dip EVERYTHING into the ketchup - hotdogs, turkey burgers, carrots, beans... yep, you get the picture here. Funny girls. Finally, they LOVE LOVE LOVE looking at pictures - maybe they do take after their mama just a bit! I put all the pictures we've had lying around into some cheap albums and its become a favorite activity. They're getting pretty good at identifying people too...
Expert level identifying Grandpa and Papa and "B" (Aunt Bre)
Advanced level identifying Gama and Grandma (there's still some confusion there - to clarify I was going to teach them to say nana and figured Grandma Phyllis would love being called Nana if they could actually say Nana. Problem isn't saying nana - they do that great - it's that they sign BANANA at the same time! oh well)
Average level identifying Aunt Hilary (I need some more pictures please!) and Tade (what Ryann calls Uncle Cade)

Enjoy some of this cooler weather that's FINALLY rolling in!
Brynley - can't believe Marcy got one of her smiling... of course mama was holding her...

Hadley - this expression is soo her! She's our busy girl!

Model Ryann - I think she's trying to get a gig somewhere...

We'd given up trying to get a "Nice" family picture - my expression says it all: "Whatever"...
