The official 9-month report...

The girls had their 9-month appointment - well, almost 2 weeks ago. What can I say - we're busy! We (Gama and me) really liked the doctor which was a relief. The girls did good, although they did manage to shred - and maybe eat - the paper covering the examining table while we were there. Once they started there was no stopping them, it would have required at least one more person! Anyway, the girls are doing great - catching up slowly but surely! I think they're all right around the 25% now (non-adjusted) and around the 50th percentile adjusted! I suppose the biggest surprise is that Ryann increased the weight differential between her and her sisters by almost a pound! They had been catching up to her, but somehow she's been packing away the ounces/pounds! As of two weeks ago, Ryann weighed in at 16 lbs 15 oz and was 26.75 inches long. Brynley weighed in at 15 lbs 9 oz and measured at 26 inches, and Hadley also weighed in at 15 lbs 9 oz, but measured at 26.75 inches (she's a lean mean fighting machine these days!) They're all healthy and growing up (too) fast!
Brynley [finally] got her first tooth on the 10th... the poor dear had to work at it so hard and she wasn't herself for quite a few days. Since she got that tooth she's back to her funny goofy self! Ryann has her two bottom teeth - and we think she might be working on another one today... Hadley has one or two - we're not sure, it's getting hard to keep track of! ha!
Although she's not a typical crawler, Hadley is on the move. She's more of a hopper - she literally looks like a frog - or maybe a bunny - going across the floor, and she's getting FAST! Ryann has decided she is a super big girl and has started pulling herself up on anything and everything she can find. She also figured out how to go up the stair between our living room and kitchen... and boy is she proud when she does climb up there - I swear she beelines for it all of the time! Today she kept going after the dog food... boy are we in trouble!
The biggest news is that Mollie started this last week! I think both her and the girls are adjusting nicely to the new routine. Gama was still here last week and showed Mollie the ropes which worked out nicely. Gama left on Friday afternoon and was a little teary leaving her girls - but now she gets to be just Gama and not nanny-Gama! The dogs were sad to see her go as well.
That about sums up things here... the girls are still eating everything under the sun, can't get them full enough these days. So... NO, they are NOT sleeping through the night - thank you for asking. We spoke to the doctor about it and he said it's kind of hard to judge since they're still catching up. Right now when they get up they eat their full bottle in no time - which tells us they're still hungry and I don't see how we can hold off three of them for x number of hours... all in due time. Below are some of their 9-month pictures and a few others. Of course you can always visit our shutterfly site to see all the candids (way too many I know)!
